Decorating Your Home For The Season
December is one of our favorite months of the year, and not just because of the long-awaited Holiday vacation. December is the month that we get to see all of the beautiful homes that we follow decorated for the festive season, and these spaces never disappoint.
Garlands
Garlands are one of the easiest ways to bring festive holiday decor to your home. Whether you are draping it over an Ambrosia Maple Mantel or some L.J. Smith Stair Parts, these beautiful greens look amazing throughout the home.
Available at nearly every home decor store or your local department store, there are a variety of different garlands to choose from to ensure your home still has a unique look this holiday season.
Holiday Trinkets
One of our favorite past times during this season is exploring all of the amazing little decorations and trinkets that make such a big difference when they are placed somewhere significant in the home.
Emily with @mylushabode utilized these little wooden Christmas trees and a vintage candlestick so perfectly on top of this garland on her bedroom shelf. These small details go a long way in creating beautiful and elegant holiday decor.
These little items can also be found at most home stores and local department stores. Our favorite selection we have seen is from Target, and those can be found on their website.
Christmas Trees
Is holiday decor really complete without the main character? The Christmas Tree has to be the most iconic holiday decoration, and it always brightens up every space in December. This classic element of Christmas looks even better next to elegant decorative trim or next to the natural texture of our Ambrosia Maple Beams.
