How To Create A Reeded Accent Wall
Reeded accent walls took the designer world by storm last year, and many of us are still trying to catch up with all of the beautiful walls that were created utilizing this unique look. With this trend being at the top of mind, Ornamental Decorative Millwork has designed an even simpler solution to create these beautiful walls.

Reeded Panels
Our brand new Reeded Panels will be launching this Spring, and they are the perfect solution to creating a beautifully textured accent wall. Offered in both Ambrosia Maple and Primed MDF, these 8ft panels were designed to allow for anyone to be able to add a beautifully textured accent wall to their space.

Installation
These panels were created with ease of installation in mind. These panels interlock together seamlessly just like a tongue and groove profile, and can be cut down on any table saw to your desired width. That is why you can install these panels in just a few simple steps.
Measure the height of the area where the panels will be installed. Once measured, cut the panels down to the necessary size.
Place the panels firmly against the wall, and install using a brad nailer with at least 1 1/2” brad nails. Continue this process for the rest of the wall ensuring that each panel is firmly locked against the others before installing with the brad nails.
Once your panels are installed, fill the brad nail halls with either Bondo or Drydex, allow for them to dry, and sand them smooth with a palm or angle sander.
After the panels are installed, the wall is ready to be painted.
